On March 19, 1899, Charles "Cheers" Wakefield established an oil company in Britain. Ten years later, he produced a new type of lubricant, which revolutionized the transportation industry in the first half of the 20th century. He called this new lubricating oil Castrol. Since then, a great name has been born. Up to now, Castrol is still a symbol of high quality, high performance and cutting-edge lubricating oil technology.
